• We're in the business of consistently hitting singles. Hitting homeruns is great fun, but it racks up a lot of strikeouts swinging for the fences every time. We target returns of 25%-30%.
• Depending on the market environment we usually issue 1-5 new trades per week which are held an average of 2 to 10 days holding time. Day trades do happen.
• Trade alerts are posted on the live blog.
• We will post the entry signals (buy) and then, when the time comes, the exit signals (sell).
• Working 9am to 5pm? You can use autotrading and have our trade alerts traded automatically in your participating brokerage account. This is a great option if you don't have the time to put the orders in yourself.
• The trade's performance will be calculated based on our entry and exit alerts and it will be updated on the website's trade history as soon as the trade is closed out.
• If we can’t find an appropriate trade we’ll stay out of the market. Unlike your full-service broker, we have nothing to gain from churning your account for commissions.
• We do not issue any new entry trade alerts on options expiration Fridays. At most, we will only issue exit trade alerts on those days.
